So I LOVE waffle crisp. They remind me of a good part of my childhood and bring back that nostalgia. I don't love the price.My gf would get me these every once in a while as a special treat but I always felt bad that they cost basically $8 a box. One day while walking in walmarts cereal isle I spotted a box that said "Good Mornings" and had ...dare I say it? Waffle crisps in the picture. Little, square waffles. They look exactly like Waffle Crisp. So I said #$%^ it and bought it since it was only $3, and might I add a very large box. I brought them home and grabbed my box of waffle crisps I had been saving. I pored a bowl of each and tested this new "Good Mornings" cereal. I gotta say, I am extremely happy I bought that box. It tastes almost exactly the same as Waffle Crisp. I had an aunt that was like a second mom to me who would buy me this cereal when I would have sleep overs at her house growing up and it has always been my favorite. I was crushed when they stopped selling it. My aunt passed away a few years ago and when I came across this cereal here on Amazon I just had to get it. It is expensive for two boxes of cereal but one bite took me back to my childhood. It was so worth it and I would definitely buy it again! Thanks Amazon for never disappointing! PS. This is the first review I have ever written haha that says a lot in regards to how much this cereal meant to me. |
